Covid-19

Distribution of food:

1050 nos. Of persons got food packets the 3 times for the first 40 days of lockdown. Each food packet contained = Rice-2 kg+ Dal-300 gm+ Oil-250 ml+ Potato-1 kg+ Egg-5pcs/ Soybean-200 gm+ Salt-100 gm. All total we distributed almost: Rice = 6300 kg, Dal = 950 kg, Oil = 2100 bottle, Egg = 10,500 pcs, Soybean = 210 kg, Salt = 210 kg, Potato = 3150 kg.
Distribution of Vegetables:
To each person Potato+ Onion+ Cabbage+ Other vegetables are distributed. A total of 500 packets were distributed whenever there was demand from needy persons.
Free shopping of vegetables:
14 different types of vegetables were distributed forming a rural bazaar. 550 persons participated and took home vegetables from the free bazaar.
Blood donation camp:
Organized 7 nos. Of emergency blood donation camp within the lockdown period. 235 persons donated blood for the welfare of mankind.
Blood transfusion for Thalassemia patients:
135 nos. of children including adult patients transfused blood free of cost to date. With the collaboration of a local nursing home, blood transfusion was organized.
Donation to relief fund:
20,000 was donated to the West Bengal emergency relief fund.
Home delivery of medicine:
Medicines, baby food, and other essential items were delivered to the home. Several requests for requirements of aged and ill persons were received and those were resolved.
Preparation of Hand Sanitizer:
Around 100 lit. of hand sanitizer was prepared on the basis of WHO guidelines. This was distributed in the local Police station, Health centers, Asha workers, and needy people.
Sanitization by spraying disinfectant:
Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed for the disinfection purpose. Govt. and public places were sanitized at regular intervals.
Feeding street dogs:
Around 50 street dogs were fed regularly.
Development of quarantine center:
15-bed capacity quarantine center developed for the workers returning from the other state. Prepared and developed a 15-person capacity quarantine center.
Assistance to migrant workers:
Car hired and sent 14 nos. of migrant workers to their home in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Cash Donation:
21 nos. of needy people benefitted from Rs. 500/- per month for each since the lockdown started. Wish to continue this for another 1 year.
Nutritional support to the pregnant:
Horlicks, milk, egg, soap, and hand sanitizer. 52 pregnant mothers got the packet for the last month in 3 days intervals.

Blood Donation

Celebration of 3 months intervals, i.e., organizing a minimum of 4 blood donation camps in one calendar year.

Amphan Super Cyclone

Rescue Operation:
During the cyclonic storm and heavy rainfall 50 persons were rescued and sent to safe houses.
Cutting trees and cleaning program:
Immediately after the cyclone, several trees were cut and the main road was made easy for vehicles and also for the electric supply also.
Cleaning the drainage system:
Remove the stagnant water from the locality.
Arrangement of rooms:
Rooms and shelter were arranged for 100 persons whose houses were badly damaged.
Distribution of tripol:
250 tripol were distributed among families.
Community kitchen:
Community kitchen was started for 150 persons for 5 days of feeding.
Restoration work:
Continuously followed up on electric supply and PWD works with the Govt. officials.
Distribution of roof tiles:
Several roof tiles were distributed for replacement of broken tiles among 20 people. Roof tiles were distributed to the houses having minor damages.
